This part of standard GB/T 20851 specifies the core structure and framework of the Application Layer of dedicated short range communication (DSRC) used in electronic toll collection (ETC) systems, and defines the basic services provided by the transfer kernel, the initialization kernel and the boradcast kernel of the application layer.
This part is applicable to ETC system for highway and electronic charging system for urban roads, and also can be refered for automatic vehicle identification(AVI), vehicle entry and exit management and other fields.
